High efficiency, energy conservation, and low carbon are the current global focuses. As the power source for various equipment, motors are widely used in industries such as steel, metallurgy, oil fields, and coal. They are the major power consumers in the national economy. Therefore, achieving energy conservation and consumption reduction in the motor industry plays a crucial role in the entire energy – saving project. Various countries, especially developed regions in Europe and America, have clear requirements for motor efficiency. China issued a new national energy efficiency standard, GB 18613 – 2020 “Minimum Allowable Values of Energy Efficiency and Energy Efficiency Grades for Motors” on May 29, 2020. To meet the needs of domestic and international markets, Anhui Wannan Electric Machine Co., Ltd. independently developed a new basic series product: the YE5 series three – phase asynchronous motors. Its energy efficiency level meets the Grade 1 energy efficiency specified in the new national energy efficiency standard GB 18613 – 2020 (conforming to the IE5 energy efficiency class of the international energy efficiency standard IEC 60034 – 30 – 1:2017). It has completed the filing of the Grade 1 energy efficiency label and the energy – saving certification for Grade 1 energy – efficient products.
The installation dimensions of the YE5 series three – phase asynchronous motors comply with the international IEC 60034 standard. They have the advantages of reasonable structure, beautiful appearance, high efficiency, low temperature rise, low noise, small vibration, high protection level, and high insulation class. They can be widely used to drive various general mechanical equipment such as fans, pumps, machine tools, compressors, transportation, and crushing machinery. They can also be used in other harsh environments such as in the petroleum, chemical, steel, and mining industries.
